What makes the ProShot 180 different from other shooting machines?
The pass. Dual rubber wheels squeeze the ball on release, so it arrives sharp and flat like a real pass rather than as a lob. It covers the full 180° in front of the hoop, holds any point on that arc or sweeps across it, and returns 1,000+ shots an hour.
How do I order one?
Message us or call and we'll take you through it. If you need it in writing first, request a quote and we'll send one the same working day, with the GST breakdown a board, committee or funder will ask for.
Can I see one before I buy?
Yes. We'll find the closest machine to you, either at our Auckland site or with a school or club nearby that already owns one, so you can watch it run in a real session and ask them directly. Arrange a visit.
What training modes does it have?
Two. Fixed point holds one spot on the arc and feeds the same look until the rep is grooved. Horizontal swing sweeps continuously across the full 180°, passing as it turns. Ball speed runs across nine levels and release height is set by hand on the rear crank.
Can one person move it?
Yes. It weighs 107 kg but rolls on two anti-skid wheels, and the net folds down to 93 × 64 × 164 cm, so it fits through a standard door and stores in a shared hall.
Does it need assembling?
No. It arrives pre-assembled. You raise the net on the telescopic poles and lock the lever, which takes a couple of minutes.
Can it be used outdoors?
It's designed for indoor use. You can run it outdoors for a session, but it should be stored indoors, and we recommend the ProShot Cover if it's going to sit outside at all.
What balls does it take?
Official size 6 or 7, one at a time. The net returns it and it goes straight back out.
What's the warranty?
Two years on parts, from delivery. After that, labour and technical support stay free for life and you only pay for the part. Our team is in New Zealand. Full warranty details.
Should I get the 180 or the X?
The 180 suits a program training one shooter or a small group on set looks. The X adds automatic movement between up to 7 positions, programmable drills and adjustable spin, which matters when you're running a full squad through varied patterns. Compare the two.
Can we spread the cost?
Yes. Lease to own over 6 or 12 months at 0% interest with a 25% deposit, or split it 50/50 with the second half due on delivery. Payment options.
Can we use grant funding to pay for it?
Most schools and clubs do, and at $8,500 a single grant often covers the whole machine. We supply quotations in the format community funders ask for, with both the GST exclusive and inclusive amounts, and we'll reissue with a current date if your application timeline moves. Get the funding pack.
