Which should I choose?
Start with the tub. The Hydro Plunge at $1,100 is inflatable, for outdoors, and goes straight in your cart. The Hydro Plunge Pro at $7,499 is red cedar with a stainless steel interior, for indoors or outdoors. Add the Hydro Chiller at $4,500 to either, or buy the two together as a system for less.
Do I need the Hydro Chiller?
No. On its own a tub takes cold water and ice, with nothing to plug in. The Hydro Chiller is for when you want it held at a set temperature, anywhere from 2 to 42 °C.
How cold does it get?
On its own, as cold as the water and ice you put in. With the Hydro Chiller, down to 2 °C: from 25 to 28 °C to 10 °C in 1.2 to 1.5 hours, to 5 °C in 1.5 to 2 hours more, and to 2 °C in about an hour after that.
Where can they go?
The Hydro Plunge goes outdoors, year-round. The Hydro Plunge Pro goes indoors or outdoors. Both need a flat, level surface, and the Hydro Chiller's housing is rated IPX5.
Are delivery and installation included?
Yes, both, anywhere in New Zealand. The Hydro Plunge Pro arrives pre-assembled.
