AERO COMPRESSION

Precision compression engineered for faster recovery and longer performance.

How compression works

Air chambers inflate to move blood back toward the heart, the way your own muscles do when you walk.

Aero compression boots in use

Contact

The sleeve seals around the limb, ready to apply even pressure across every chamber.

Under pressure

Vessels narrow under the squeeze, lifting the speed of blood moving through the limb.

Return flow

Fluid is pushed back toward the heart, easing swelling and heaviness.

Over a session

Twenty to sixty minutes of cycles, leaving legs feeling lighter and less fatigued.

Step one

Pressure begins

Air fills the chambers around the limb, applying controlled, even compression through the sleeve.

Step two

The squeeze tightens

As pressure builds, vessels are gently compressed and blood flow through the limb speeds up.

Step three

Fluid moves out

Blood and lymphatic fluid are pushed back toward the heart, clearing what has pooled after training and easing swelling.

Step four

Release, then repeat

Pressure drops and fresh, oxygenated blood flows back in. Over a full session the cycle repeats again and again.

Standard or Pro

The same difference applies across boots and sleeves. Pro cuts the cord, standard gives you more chambers and modes.

Frequently asked questions

Which one should I get?

Start with where you need it. Boots for legs, sleeves for arms and shoulders, or a full body kit for both. Then choose standard or Pro: standard runs from a control unit and hose with more chambers and modes, Pro is fully wireless with the controls built into each unit.

What's the difference between standard and Pro?

Pro is cordless. There's no base unit and no hoses, so you can move around during a session. Standard gives you eight chambers instead of five, an extra mode, and Zone Technology for targeting specific areas. Both use the same Aero compression.

Can I run boots and sleeves from one control unit?

On the standard system, yes. One Aero control unit and hose drives both, so you can switch between legs and arms from the same setup. The Pro full body kit works differently, with three magnetic control units that let you run boots and sleeves at the same time.

Do I have to buy the full kit?

No. Boots and sleeves are sold separately, and you can add the other later. The full body kits just cost less than buying both on their own.

How long does a session take?

Anywhere from 10 to 60 minutes. Twenty to thirty minutes suits most people. Keep your first session short at a low pressure setting and build up from there.

Do I need to be an athlete to use these?

No. They're used by professional teams, but just as much by runners, gym-goers, people recovering from long days on their feet, and anyone whose work leaves their legs or arms heavy. Adjustable pressure means you can run them as gently as you like.

How often can I use them?

Daily use is fine for most people. Many use them after every session and again in the evening. Build up gradually rather than starting with long sessions at high pressure.

Is there anyone who shouldn't use them?

Yes. Don't use them if you have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, a recent or current DVT, thrombophlebitis, heart disease, unstable hypertension, or any open wound or infection in the treatment area. Check with your doctor or physio first if you're pregnant, recovering from limb surgery, or unsure whether compression therapy suits you. Not suitable for anyone under 18.

What sizes do they come in?

Boots come in Short, Regular and Long, based on leg length rather than shoe size. Sleeves come in one size. There's a size guide on each product page if you're unsure.

What's covered by the warranty?

Every Aero product comes with a one year warranty covering manufacturing faults. Unauthorised repairs or modifications will void it, so get in touch with us rather than opening the unit if something isn't working.
